I absolutely love this time of the year! The colours in the trees are beautiful.

Yesterday my youngest daughter came home from school with a gorgeous red leaf the shape of a heart for me. When the girls do wee things like that I get all choked up lol

Anyhow, that leaf inspired me to make the card above. I used Walztingmouse's Peace and Plenty stampset which you can find here.

One of the challenges is to create a project which is inspired by Colors, designs or themes that are prominent in the Japanese culture. My sister Had a baby boy on Sunday evening! He weighed in at 9lb 3 1/2 oz. They are calling him Casey and he is a wee dote. I was her birthing partner & it was a fabulous experience. Thanks for letting me share it with you Louise. (You're a lot calmer when it's not you doing all the hard work lol)

My good friend, the VERY talented Claire Brennan is releasing four new stamp-sets tomorrow!!!

There have been sneak peeks all week on her blog Waltzingmouse be sure to check them out.

The Clear Photopolymer stampsets retail at £13 sterling each (approx just over $22 US dollars at todays rate, which is subject to change) and Claire ships to US, Canada, Australia, Europe, UK and Ireland.

I've been lucky enough to get my hands on one of the new sets 'Earthangel' & it is amazing, I can't put it down. Thanks Claire ;)

Teachers...............

Hello!

It's coming up to the end of the school year so I thought i'd better get busy and make a card for each of my daughters teachers. I made these on friday morning while at a friends house. I think most of you may know (waltzingmouse) and I'm sure you already know she has started her own stamping line, you can check her stamp sets out here they are something else! 

While I was there on friday morning she was working on cards for the release of her new sets, you will be blown away when you see them. Pop over to her blog,  the sets are due to go on sale in a couple of days!

I used the mojomonday sketch for the red & green card but think I'm to late to enter it lol
