Good Morning!!
Time for
This week as well as Arlana's fab sketch below, we thought we would add an EXTRA challenge........
'Bunny Week'
Our fab sponsor this week
Meljen's is very kindly offering the winner this week
4 FREE DIGI's of your choice!
This cute wee fella is called
'Chubby Bunny smiles'

I coloured him using my Promarkers. I decided to add a little colour to the background of the image, which was way out of my comfort zone but I'm happy enough with the finished result.

Be sure to 'HOP' on over to the Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog for all the details of how to play along & check out the fab Bunny cards from the other DT girlies, you are in for a treat.

Thanks for stopping by :)

  1. He is definitely a chubby happy bunny! Your coloring is so pretty and I love the pink ribbon!

    Deanne :)

  2. Hi Genevieve, your bunny has the cutest chubby belly. I love how you used color befind your image. It really makes you bunny pop. I just noticed that you used the same ribbon as I did this week. Really cute card!

  3. Such a sweet card Genevieve!!! I hear ya about coloring the background. I spend all kinds of time coloring my image then mess it up with a bad background coloring!!!! So white skies it is!!!! Fabulous springy happy colors you used too!!!

  4. Oh i love the colored background of your image! What a pretty card with the gingham paper and that unique bow is a great touch Genevieve! Have a wonderful week!

  5. Your background color is perfect but I know what you mean about comfort zone...sometimes I think it is how I am feeling at the moment which will determine how the finished product actually looks....well...that is me! But yours turned out perfectly. I love his belly and your springy papers! Thanks for the great job on the SSW post this week!
    Happy Bunny Week!

  6. Hi Genevieve, such a cute Bunny I love him or her. Such pretty colours and I love your gingham I'm just so into it at the moment can't you tell on both of my cards. I love your coloured back ground. I hated mine when I first did it, sometimes I'll sponge the sky as well totally depending on the image. You know what they say practice makes perfect. Have a look over at Sketching Stamper Chris Dark her back grounds a wonderful very impressive I don't think I'll ever be that good she amazes me!!!
Have a great week and weekend.

  7. He's just so chubby and cute! I love the bright blue buttons, they really add that special touch.

    Peace & Luv,

  8. Oh Geneieve love how you colored your sweet bunny. Your papers added ribbon and buttons ar just the sweetest!!! Have a sweet week. Arlana
